Portugal 8 MW/hour Solar and Leisure Investment – €37M

This project has multiple investment opportunities as there is an existing holiday and leisure resort on the vast 360 hectares of land (3,600,000 sqm). There are also approved licenses for further development of several further villas along the river front which runs through the estate.

Invest in leisure:

  • The land has 360 hectares (3,600,000 sqm);
  • 7 wood bungalows with 1,2 and 3 beds, and 5 rustic villas with a traditional Algarve architectural style and an individual pool for each;
  • Full booking occupancy in 2011, and pre-bookings for 2012;
  • A swimming pool with 900 sqm and 2 rooms for events;
  • Approved construction license to develop a dam for power generation;
  • Approved license for a hotel with 52 bedrooms with 104 beds;
  • Pre-approved windturbine project for 10 towers settlement at the property;
  • A project currently pending approval for 40.000 sqr meters for habitational building construction (villas).

Invest in solar energy:

  • Approved 8 MW/hour even being possible to upscale to a 12 MW/hour investment in next couple of years;
  • Grid connection;
  • Pre-approved windturbine project for 10 towers settlement at the property;
  • Equipment is included in the price, if you have your own supplier this will reduce the investment capital;
  • An IRR (internal rate of return) of   12.1%
  • Payback of  10 Years
