Successful realtors know how to pretty up a house and make it absolutely spotless before they put it on a market. They have the uncanny ability to point out very subtle details about a home and blow them up into major sale points that the buyer never realised before. This attention to detail is also what makes a realtor able to read the minds of their potential buyers and tenants, and is the reason why a good realtor will be persistent and tenacious.

Able to Sell a Future

A realtor knows how to get into the heads of their customers. If a realtor sees a couple cradling a child looking for a 3-bedroom home, then you could make the assumption that they plan to have more children to start a large family. With this knowledge, a realtor can specifically target features in homes to advertise which will win over the buyer. Are you faced with a single person that looks like a business professional? Then chances are they’re looking for rental properties in your area to start a new business or to move closer to their job. Again, with that information, a realtor can target features like the close proximity to public transport and amenities, or a fast and stable internet connection that is already installed and good to go.

Local Knowledge

A great realtor understands the needs and demands of the local property market. For instance, if a realtor specialises in a wealthy area such as Beverly Hills, that realtor knows to market mansions and other luxurious properties for people to drool over. They know what to sell to each individual and they know how to sell it through a mix of experience and local knowledge. Are you a holidaymaker that wants a holiday getaway home? The realtor knows how to accommodate those needs and they have just the perfect home for you that screams “holiday home”.
